In summary, with the sunrays, the direct current (DC) of the electrical energy can be generated by the solar modules. The DC generated then will be converted to alternating current (AC) by the inverter. Once converted to AC, the electrical energy will via TNB meter before it is channeled to the grid (utility poles). TNB meter will record the electrical energy amount generated and TNB will pay according to the FiT rate set by the government authorities called “SEDA” (Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia). Payment will be paid directly to the owner’s account every month contract for 21 years with TNB.
One thing you should know is the electricity generated is not for the use of your house but the electricity generated is ALL channeled to the grid (utility poles). You are an electricity generator that sell electricity to TNB.
For the first step, the applicant must obtain the quota from SEDA because the renewable energy program in Malaysia is managed by them. You do not need to worry because the application process will be managed by the Revotech. Applicants are required to provide documents required by the Revotech at an early stage.
